Altheia AI Venture Studios Inc. (“Altheia,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy and handles personal information in accordance with Québec’s Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25) and applicable Canadian privacy law. This policy is written in plain language, as the law requires.
Altheia is responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Our Privacy Officer is Christopher Hull, reachable at privacy@altheiaventures.com.
We collect only what you choose to give us:
When you use the assistant or contact us: your name, contact details, and the content of your message, so we can answer you and follow up. Conversations with the assistant may be retained to provide and improve the service.
Automatically: basic technical data (such as browser type and pages viewed) to keep the site secure and working, and privacy-friendly, first-party analytics (page views and performance) to understand and improve the site. We use no third-party advertising trackers and set no advertising cookies. You can change your analytics choice at any time via 'Manage consent' in the footer.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The assistant on this site answers only from Altheia’s published information. When you send it a message, that message is processed by our AI service provider (Anthropic) to generate a response, under a data-processing agreement; the provider does not retain your message to train its models.
Personal information collected through this site is stored in Canada (our database is hosted in the Canadian region, ca-central-1). Some visitor input to our AI assistant is processed by our AI provider (Anthropic), which may process it outside Québec, under a data-processing agreement and with technical and contractual safeguards. A privacy assessment of this transfer under the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector is in progress. Questions: privacy@altheiaventures.com (Privacy Officer, Christopher Hull).
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law, then delete it. Lead and contact information is retained for up to 24 months after our last interaction with you. Assistant conversations are retained for up to 12 months.
Under Law 25 you may: access the personal information we hold about you; ask us to correct it; withdraw your consent; and, in certain circumstances, ask us to delete it or provide it in a portable format. To make a request, contact privacy@altheiaventures.com. We respond within the timeframe the law requires.
By submitting information through the assistant or a form, you consent to our collecting and using it for the purposes described here. You may withdraw consent at any time.
If you have a concern we have not resolved, you may contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
We may update this policy; the “last updated” date shows when. Material changes will be posted here.
